Dear Main Street Writers and Friends,

What a wonderful reading that was. “Thank you” hardly conveys my appreciation for everyone who came, read, applauded, munched, imbibed, visited, and generally deepened our celebration of writing.

Together we raised $310 for the Shersnow family – thank you Tanya, for touching and shaping our lives. Thanks also to Dennis, Sue, Jennie and friend: family members who joined us for the evening.

Thanks to Amy LaPrade, emcee extraordinaire, who set a tone of welcome and invitation; and to Elena Olken-Dann, whose steady persistence and good nature got us organized in spite of our collective nature.

Also thanks to the wonderful owners and volunteers at Food for Thought Books, who host us gladly and without a squeak when we get too noisy, too many, and linger too long into the night. Long live Independent Book Stores…!
